Coming up: International Women’s Day Event Friday 8.3.-19

LCS Wines has a pleasure to be part of the Women s Day (8.3.19) Event together with the

British & Commonwealth Chamber of Commerce in Finland by offering guests our wines and Prosecco.

These wines were from Italy and Germany and Prosecco from Italy.

White wine chosen for this event is a dry Riesling from Germany and this wine is made by a Woman, Desisée Eser. She wanted to make a dry Riesling which represents her style of making wines and named this wine therefore; "My Way" Riesling. AUGUST ESER winery makes well appreciated wines in 10th generation in Rheingau and has some 30 years ago also gained appreciated VDP classification for their wines.

Our red wine for this event is also from well appreciated winery and there is also a woman in charge, not of wine making but of marketing and selling the wines around the world. This winery is called Az Ag ICARDI and they have made wines for over 100 years in Piemonte, Italy. They use nebbiolo and barbera grapes for their red wines and Cortese, Sauvignon blanc and Chardonnay for their white wines. Icardi winery also makes so called "king" and "queen" of wines ie. Barolo and Barbaresco wines. Icardi family is an Organic wine producer.

Last but not least we wish to toast with participants of this event with Paladin Extra dry Millesimato Prosecco which is a lovely bubbly sparkling wine from Veneto area Italy and made of Glera grapes.

You can use this sparkling wine as a welcoming drink and also with food such as goat cheese, salami, cheeses, cheese cake, berries and fruits etc. This fresh and lovely Paladin Millesimato Prosecco will also be available in Alko (www.alko.fi) stores in Magnum size (1,5 L bttls) starting from April 18th.
