Great obtions are for example tradional and classic red wines from Veneto and from Rioja.

From Veneto I propose full-bodied and soft, fruity and spicy Casa Lupo Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore 2020. It pairs lovely with Christmas treats such as meat and matured cheese. This red wine is also packed in a gift-box (see in the photo) so it is ready present. 🤗🎁

From Rioja I am delighted to propose both Vina Tondonia Reserva Red ( Alko product no. 453817) and Vina Bosconia Reserva red ( Alko product no. 438247). R. Lopez de Heredia has been following a tradional way of making wines for 146 years. Their winery in one of the oldest in Rioja region and oldest in Haro. The founder, Don Rafael, fell in love with with Rioja region, and especially the area around Haro.

Vina Tondonia Rva Red 2010 was aged for 6 years in barrels.

Colour is vibrant red with hints of amber.

Nose is fresh with notes of vanilla and dried berry aromas.

Taste: Rich, dry, smooth, developed. Tannins are smooth and well balanced.

Vina Bosconia Rva Red 2012 was aged 5 years in barrels.

This wine has evolved perfectly showing deep ruby colour with shades of orange. Its nose is persistant, full-bodied with lot of mature fruit, being dominated by the Tempranillo grape.

Taste is round, smooth, fresh, full of body and persistant.

You can store these wines years to come.
